“Tanto Mar aims to be a space where the register of the work of Portuguese citizens outside Portugal will start, of those that by intervening in the built environment seek to have a transforming attitude that springs from the social issues resulting from the time and place where they are built.
Practically unknown in Portugal and distributed throughout the world, these Portuguese creators who operate in the centre of present day’s larger-than-life issues, will only act as critical mass that is useful to their country if their work is registered, recognized and discussed also in Portugal. .
This methodology of register aims, through different actions and events, to stimulate the discussion about these themes.”
